I am Vassily Lombard, a junior majoring in Data Science. As a member of the Earlham golf team, I enjoy spending time with my teammates and improving my game. I am also involved on campus as a math tutor and president of the robotics club, where I enjoy collaborating on projects. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in Artificial Intelligence, whether in industry or academia, where I can contribute to cutting-edge advancements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My capstone project focuses on developing a system that enables a robot to be controlled using sign language. By leveraging machine learning, the robot&#8217;s camera will capture and interpret hand signs, executing corresponding commands in real time.
