{"id":1533,"date":"2018-09-19T14:11:31","date_gmt":"2018-09-19T18:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portfolios.cs.earlham.edu\/?p=1533"},"modified":"2018-09-19T14:11:31","modified_gmt":"2018-09-19T18:11:31","slug":"dungeon-crawl-ai-agent-optimization-via-machine-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portfolios.cs.earlham.edu\/index.php\/2018\/09\/19\/dungeon-crawl-ai-agent-optimization-via-machine-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Dungeon Crawl AI Agent Optimization via Machine Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For my senior project, I&#8217;m working on optimizing the performance of <em>qw<\/em>, an AI Agent developed to play (and sometimes win) the game of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.<\/p>\n<p>To reduce the search space and make optimization with machine learning faster, easier, and more efficient, I&#8217;m limiting the bot to only explore the first floor of the Dungeon.
