One solution for this might be having a device in the car\nthat monitor drivers\u2019 behaviors and facial expressions and ring the alarm if\nthe drivers tend to fall asleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What\ntechnology will be used in your project?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dataset of\nfacial expressions (images and videos)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What\nsoftware and hardware will be needed for your project?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Python, PyTorch (or Keras)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>How\nare you planning to implement?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Build a pipeline that first apply some image processing techniques to\nimprove the quality of the images, then train a model (using neural networks)\nto detect and locate face position in the images, and the last step is to build\na model (also using deep neural networks) to classify the behaviors and facial\nexpressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>How\nis your project different from others? What\u2019s new in your project?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Most relevant projects track the drivers\u2019 eyes to see if they close their\neyes. I am considering checking eyes movements and also other behaviors such as\nyawning or nodding off in order to improve the classification performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What\u2019s\nthe difficulties of your project?
